Returns & Exchanges

We think our products are great, so we offer Free postage on all returns.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

We undertake to reimburse you for any product delivered to you that is faulty or damaged.

If you wish to return a faulty or damaged product, you must notify us within 5 days of receipt on returns@coolkidsrooms.com.au.  All products must be returned within 14 days of receipt.  Returned products must be:

  • Unused;
  • In the original packaging;
  • With labeling intact; and
  • Returned with proof of purchase.

We will provide either a replacement or a refund.  Please let us know which you would prefer when you notify us.

The replacement will be sent once the original product is received at our Brisbane warehouse.  We will pay for the further outward shipping if a replacement is requested.

 

Return for Any Reason

If you have simply changed your mind or wish to return a product for any reason, we undertake to refund or exchange any product within 14 days of receipt (excluding any outward shipping charges which are not refundable).  The returned product must be:

 

  • Unused;
  • In the original packaging;
  • With labeling intact;
  • In a saleable condition;
  • Returned with proof of purchase.

At our discretion, we will pay for the return shipping.  Return of goods for refund or exchange is entirely at your cost and risk.

The procedure for returning items is outlined below.

 

Returns Procedure (non-Furniture items):

Please e-mail us at returns@coolkidsrooms.com.au with precise details of the product you wish to return, when you purchased it and the reason for returning it.  We will arrange to have the item picked up by courier and issue a refund on receipt of the item.  Under certain circumstances, we may authorize you to mail the item via Australia Post and we will refund the postage at the same time as the product refund.  The packing will be at your expense.

 

Returns Procedure (for Furniture):

Given the logistics involved with furniture it is important the customer inspects the furniture BEFORE signing the delivery docket. If the furniture is damaged then please do not sign the docket -- and request that the delivery driver take the furniture away.

We will provide either a replacement or a refund.  Please let us know which you would prefer when you notify us.

 

Other

We reserve the right to alter the “Free Returns” component of the returns and refunds policy if we feel it is being abused.

Additionally, we reserve the right to reject orders from individuals if we feel they are abusing the “Free Returns” policy.
